Kuon FAQ

COMMON QUESTIONS

What is “fresh food” to Kuon Lix?

We consider “fresh” being unprocessed high-quality real food. As it pertains to humans, your health starts with what it eats, and we believe the same for our furry friends. We believe that by feeding your dog a fresh Human-Grade food instead of kibbles (burnt brown balls) or canned (Processed) food it will increase its health and help decrease the probability of diseases.

Where is our food made?

All of Kuon Lix meals are prepared fresh in a human grade inspected commercial kitchen facility. We strive to provide the highest quality meals for your Kuon, each meal is made to order from small batches that is tested and inspected for safety.

Does Kuon Lix food meet AFFCO standards?

Yes! All of our recipes are formulated by our Dr. Heather Venkat, DVM, MPH, DACVPM, our veterinary nutritionist A.H. Bandara, along with our founder. We have formulated these recipes based on the concept of clean eating to help prevent diseases. We have balanced our meals to meet and exceed AAFCO’s standards for all stages of your Kuon’s life.

How should I transition my Kuon to Kuon Lix meals?

One of the best decisions you could make for the health and longest life span of your Kuon to is to transition to a fresh, clean, whole foods lifestyle change. We know that changing your Kuon’s diet suddenly could sometimes lead to challenges such as diarrhea, vomiting, upset stomach and sometimes even a decrease in appetite. To avoid these challenges, we recommend training your dog’s digestive track to properly digest our super nutritious food.

In order to successfully transition your Kuon, we recommend adding Kuon Lix to your Kuon’s current pet food while gradually decreasing the old food each feeding until your Kuon is eating Kuon Lix 100%. The transition could take 7 to 14 days, or longer for picky eaters. Please be patient and attentive to your Kuon during this time and utilize our suggested feeding gridlines.

Please remember that you are feeding your Kuon fresh human grade food, while doing this you should take the same measures as handling human food. Please be sure to clean your dog’s bowl after each feeding to ensure it is clean from all bacteria that could make your dog sick.
